Under the Microscope: Acme Billet Grips

Do you want your grips—the best and last interface between you and your motorcycle—to be held on by a tiny set screw? Neither do we. That’s why we designed a weld-in bung and heavy-duty 5/16-18 threaded stud to secure our left Acme grip on your bars.


Available in low-flange and high-flange styles and dual or single cable designs, Acme grips are engineered for high style and high performance

This solution has 1,000 times greater sheer strength than a 1/8-24 set screw, and is completely invisible after installation. Of course, the right grip mounts conventionally in the clamshell body of most H-D and aftermarket cable throttles.


The steel insert welds into the end of the clutch side handlebar, and the grip screws onto the set screw on the end of the insert. Simple, clean and hassle-free

The double-diamond knurled surface on Acme grips offers exceptional traction and comfort, and our BMX-inspired design is clean and complimentary to a wide range of motorcycle cockpit component styles.
