When enough thought and restraint are applied to the function and aesthetics of a component, the best products become nearly invisible to their end users. Consider a baseball bat, a pocketknife or these Acme foot control pegs.
Slim toe pegs in black ano, gold ano and raw polished
Each has a job to do. Would a Louisville Slugger or a Gerber do their job better if they looked like an alligator claw or a Nordic sword? Probably not. So why do bike builders apply similarly goofy inspiration to their motorized creations? We abstain from such nonsense, and our foot control pegs are the better for it.
Acme foot and toe pegs are drilled and tapped for 5/16-18 hardware, and every piece is precision turned from 6061 T-6 aluminum rod stock for durability
Instead of replicating the shape or texture of a prehistoric shin bone, we gave our pegs diamond knurling on a CNC lathe. Simple, clean and ever so effective for gripping the sole of a riding shoe. Because custom motorcycles don’t come in one size, we offer our toe shifters and brake pegs on two length/O.D. combinations.
Fat toe pegs are 1-inch OD to match our foot pegs of the same size
We haven’t seen a bike that these Acme parts look bad on yet, but to be fair, we haven’t seen them on any motorcycles that look like cartoon characters or Viking ships.
